Carpets and upholstery need regular cleaning to remove stains and smells caused by day-to-day wear, grease, cigarette smoke, pets, mud, food and drink.
As well as maintaining levels of hygiene, regular cleaning can prolong the life of carpets and upholstery. These surfaces can attract pollen, bacteria and chemicals, as well as being breeding grounds for dust mites, fungi and fleas. Such contaminants can then in turn have a negative effect on indoor air quality resulting in side effects such as headaches, fatigue, allergies, coughing, sneezing and more.
Regular vacuuming is a necessity to keep carpets and upholstery clean and hygienic, however, most domestic vacuum cleaners, shampooers and steamers, even the more powerful ones, haven’t got what it takes to get rid of deeply embedded dirt and grit and germs of all kinds.
Although we offer the traditional steam cleaning method of cleaning, at Zenith Advanced Cleaning Solutions we highly recommend our advanced dry cleaning approach called encapsulation for your carpets and upholstery.
The unique encapsulation method for dry cleaning carpets encompasses four distinctive steps to ensure a professional and high quality service every time:
Encapsulation is a highly efficient, very low moisture (VLM) carpet cleaning method that leaves your carpet clean, fresh and quick to dry allowing immediate usage with very minimal downtime.
The Encapsulation process involves an encapsulation cleaning agent to be worked into the carpet with a rotary agitation tool (CRB). The cleaning agent we use consists of renewable, organic materials which means it is free of phosphates, pH-Neutral has biodegradable active agents – meaning it is child, pet and Eco-friendly.
The CRB loosens and breaks down the soil from the fibers and surrounds (encapsulates) the soil into crystal particles and prevents the soil from reattaching to the fibers. This soil is then simply vacuumed away.
Similar to carpet cleaning, our advanced upholstery cleaning system uses a dry cleaning encapsulation method also. The dry upholstery cleaning system provides a simple and fast method of deep cleaning upholstered furniture.
The following process is used for dry cleaning upholstery:
Our dry cleaning method can also be used for cleaning leather. Cleaning leather not only removes the dirt and oils (which can break down the leather’s protective coating over time) but will also help maintain the moisture balance in the leather. This in turn will keep the leather supple and less likely to absorb any spillages.
Benefits of encapsulation for carpets and upholstery over more traditional wet or steam cleaning methods include very little drying time, no soaking of the carpets or upholstery, no water marks or left behind wet or sticky chemical residues from detergents and a more quicker and efficient process.
